PeoplePerHour.com – Join the best paid online jobs and projects
Why am I recommending PeoplePerHour.com ?
PeoplePerHour.com stands out as one of most reputable online workplace where skilled programmers and designers can find an ongoing paid work, set their own hourly rate and working hours and days. There are also tons of different projects to work on.
From creating a simple logo, fixing a WordPress blog, to creating a full featured Youtube clone. From a $20 project to $50,000 projects or more.
Also many employers are looking out today more and more towards outsourcing and giving temporary paid assignments only when they need them done, instead of hiring an actual worker in their brick and mortar office. They are even renting virtual assistants and whole virtual offices.
Even though PeoplePerHour.com is just one of the mayor players in the freelancing arena. I find it one of the most attractive to start with. I have my own account on PeoplePerHour and many others like Freelancer.com, oDesk.com, Guru.com, and a few others, but for now I really like all the fantastic features which PeoplePerHour.com has to offer:
Like: real genuine work, high budget tasks, a flexible tool to setup and manage every detail of your working days, hours and vacations. Excellent account privacy options (which were lacking on oDesk.com for instance), horlies, well paid projects, and an active helpful community and support staff which is eagerly helping freelancers to make the most out of their skills.
As you can see on my screenshot, these are some really serious, useful tangible projects which are generously paid for their worth.
Those are not a bunch of shady “data entry” projects that later turn out to be just another stressful “peanut earner” CAPTCHA text entering “jobs” from exploiting employers from Afganistan, Pakistan or India (I worked for those once too so I know). Also you can be sure there are no scams like those “jobs” where you are required to download and open some mysterious text file and enter some code from it, just so the author would earn a cent for you downloading it. These are real jobs per hour and real projects.
That is why PeoplePerHour.com has a high standards of quality and skill requirements for it’s members. So much that I even found a number of posts where people are complaining about it, but it’s really about giving a quality service for the clients.
But as with any other freelance working platform, it’s not too easy to get hired
Getting a job on PeoplePerHour.com or any other freelancing platform is same as getting a job offline, a worker needs a good portofolio, examples of previous work, and most importantly; RECOMMENDATIONS and GOOD TESTIMONIALS.
And to build your reputation from scratch on a freelancing site, with all that competition…takes ages.
It’s mission almost impossible!
But remember, once you have it, you can have a portable lifestyle and work from anywhere in the world!
I’m not here to sell dreams, but I do like pointing out the possibilities!
Other than paying Winton Churchil from Barefoot Consultants to build your freelancer’s profile…
